Will PDF-XChange Viewer allow me to read ebooks loaned from a Public Library as Adobe Reader 6 does?

This is really excellent alternative to Adobe Reader. PDF-XChange Viewer has very complete and useful interface. Performs functions that are pay in other software. It can handle opening PDF files in the following browsers: MS Internet Explorer (version 6 and later), FireFox, Opera, and Google Chrome.
