One of the things I really hate about the Mac Dashboard is how long it can take for it to come up, especially when you have a lot of widgets installed and running. Luckily Dashboard KickStart manages to make it come up really quickly. The application is simple to install and set up, and won't do anything else, but having it on will improve the flow of Dashboard. The program doesn't eat up a lot of memory and can be left on any time.
