Evidence of Google Babel has been found in a Gmail page, which suggests it will be available on Android, iOS, Chrome, Google+ and Gmail. The as yet unofficially announced chat app unifies Google Talk, Gmail Chat and Google+ Messenger.
The page contains the text ‘Babel is Google’s new messenger with clients for Android, iOS, Chrome, Google+ and Gmail. Access the same conversation list from anywhere!’
The main features are also revealed. There’s a new, conversation-based UI, advanced group conversations, you can send pictures and there are improved notifications across devices.
The page reveals that Babel is being tested by Google employees now.
