What is Twitter?You were the first one to download it, you tested all of its tools and functions, and you collected a bunch of webslices and accelerators... But now you just want to get rid of Internet Explorer 9. Don't worry, we won't judge you for it!
However you may need help to uninstall Microsoft's latest browser, as the process is not as clear as you might think. Here's a short guide on how to remove Internet Explorer 9 from your system and move on to another browser.
1. Click the Start button, go to the Control Panel and select Uninstall a program (if you have the settings sorted by Category) or Programs and Features if you have the Icon view.
2. You'll see Internet Explorer 9 is not included in the default list of installed software, because it's considered to be an update. You'll need to select the View installed updates option in order to make it appear on the list.
3. Wait until the program list has been populated, and scroll down until you find Internet Explorer 9. Select it and hit the Uninstall button.
4. Windows will uninstall Internet Explorer 9. The process can take a few minutes and requires a system restart afterwards. Note that this doesn't mean you don't have Internet Explorer on your system - Windows just downgrades it to version 8.

thank u very much for ur help, internet explorer 8 is better than internet explorer 9, it's shit man internet explorer. you can not watch youtube and flash videos in internet explorer 9
Agree 100%. IE9 is a lot worse than IE8. Takes double the time to start-up, to which a small pop-up window appears which blames this on add-ins in the browser. Also, doesn't function well with youtube and especially ebay as search text is displayed at such a small font, and when viewing certain listings the listing text box is chopped in half leaving a blank page at the bottom half of the listing! Back to the drawing board i think!

Thank you for the information. Installed it this morning an am uninstalling tonught. Can't open IE9 from the icon' don't like the way it changed my home page and it removed all my homepage settings. Very upset!!!!!

oh thank you so much i was looking for this for past 1 week. ie9 doesn't support mobile modem internet. will switch back to ie8 now
I have been looking to remove IE9 almost as sson as I foolishly downloaded it. It causes my computer to crash and when the computer itself didn't crash to sites stopped working then the computer crashed. Needless to say, I am going to be much more cautious before I download another Beta version of any program.

Even though i have not found how to do it, but will say that the internet explorer9 was useless and i have not bin able to remove it. it does not work and the computer hangs. THANKS THOUGH

Internet IE9 does not let you copy and paste. All there is in the tool is Print. I would like to get back Internet explorer 7 or 8 I tried to download 8 but told me my system did not support it. I downloaded IE9 on Saturday and I do not like it..

Been there, tried it,hated it, dumped it, IE8 wellcome back.
I tried it and gave it a chance but no, the lay out seems to have gone backwards ,hated my fav were on the other side couldnt get used to it so I got rid of it and got my comfy IE8 back

its very sad, i want the IE9 for my Windows Xp but its not for Xp yet. i need it for my windows xp version.
ie9 is shit, d worse ever.i just folishly downloaded it.i ve been trying to uninstil it all day.i hope i can remove it now and go back to ie8
thans elena .ie9 is not yet complete in reviewing what visited in a click as ie7 or xp and it must be rooled back all the webs until the one it looked for,i`m back with ie7

Un-installed yesterday, now having to download IE8 to install that.Microsoft outlook,Internet banking and Paypoint, all stopped working with IE9 so couldnt pay bills etc. Will keep using Firefox as main browser.
