A video leaked by MSFTKitchen shows one of the things that we can expect from the next version of Windows, code named ‘Blue.’ In the leaked video, we see Charlotte Pereira, the creative director of Fresh Paint, show off how Fresh Paint will take advantage of the operating system’s touch improvements.
MSFTKitchen took this video at Microsoft’s TechFest 2013, which is an internal conference for Microsoft developers. The Fresh Paint demo shows off some really impressive effects for the painting app. Water color is a difficult thing to capture digitally as it has to mimic wetness and color mixing. In Windows Blue, creating an image that reflects wetness is made possible.
Microsoft is preparing a public preview version of Blue soon but until then, there is still very little known about the next version of Windows.
